Watch this space for photos from the 2010 contest after we get under way on Friday night, August 27. For now, take a look at some of last year's events.

The paparazzi was out in force during the 2009 Gaslight Festival Karaoke contest. No, we didn't catch Lindsay Lohan, but several other current and future stars are in the contest. Some of the highlights are shown below.

In addition, Ed Hardman of The Thoroughbred Chorus has published dozens of Karaoke photos from 2008.

The Kids Division kicked off on Sept. 4 at Cancun Mexican Restaurant with six qualifiers.

The group photo at left includes Zachary Carnahan, Reece Brinley, Savannah Brinley, Eli Farrer, Madyson Brinley and Elizabeth Sears.

(We don't know the seňorita in the portrait.)

Elizabeth (upper right) sang "Every Time We Touch" and Eli (right) sang "Don't Stop Believin'."

Even the judges got into the act. James "Fuzzy" Roth (left) and Bill Bruce hammed it up for the camera.

And don't forget Sergio, the bartender at Cancun Mexican Restaurant. Without him, there would be no party!
